The Ministry of Science developed a new workshop with the aim of promoting the efficient use of large equipment in the service of the industrial sector.
Representatives of companies and researchers discussed successful experiences of collaboration with the public sector for the development of nanotechnology.
Promoting the use of large-sized equipment purchased with public funds and attached to the National Systems was the objective of the workshop "National Systems: articulating science and industry" oriented nanotechnology sector.
The meeting, organized by the Secretariat for Institutional Coordination, under Ministry of Scientific Technological Articulation, along with Argentina Nanotechnology Foundation (FAN), was formed from the exposure of practical experiences on uses and applications of equipment and technology by specialists in the subject.
The opening ceremony was led by Secretary of Articulation, Lic. Agustín Campero, who highlighted the work carried out by the scientific portfolio to "enhance innovation capacity and promote private sector investment in the development of technology and knowledge as an impetus for scientific activity. "
The meeting was attended by scientists, researchers and representatives of the business of nanotechnology sector.
In turn, Undersecretary of Institutional Coordination, Dr. Sergio Matheos, referred to the specific objectives have such meetings.

Researchers, scientists and business representatives presented linkage and transfer cases for developing nanotech goods and services.
Some of the axes discussed were: nanomagnetism applications, magnometría and microscopy; development and impact of nanotechnologies on health and energy; ventures and analytical testing of high complexity in the nanotechnology industry.
In this context, the president of the FAN, Ing. Daniel Lupi said the importance of such events that seek to "bring and connect the industry with researchers and entrepreneurs to reach across the country and promote technological developments".
This workshop was part of a series of meetings which provide continuity with other industrial sectors.
